Testimonies
For God’s glory, I want to testify of the great miracles the Lord has done in my life. It is my prayer that any one who reads this testimony will be encouraged to trust the Lord much more.
I was hospitalized for more than two years because I had ulcers. At the limit of their efforts, the doctors dismissed me from their care and gave me a prescription of the drugs to buy and use while at home. They told me that I would have to take those drugs for the rest of my life and that I would not have any more children as this would kill me.
While in the hospital, my husband, Bro. Dominic Malonza, cared for the five children we had. He said he used to pray daily for me. When I came home, I was very weak, desperate and I did not think I would live long. But saints of God came to my home and got into a burden for me. I was prayed for and encouraged to believe that the Dear Lord would heal me. We could not afford to pay for the drugs the doctors had prescribed for me. But even without them, the coughing and vomiting went away and I could eat. Praise the Lord. My strength came back , and very unexpectedly, I was with child. Praise the Lord for all His goodness. He gave me the strength to carry the baby for nine months and now as I give this testimony, on the 29th day of June, 2011, my baby is two weeks old, healthy and growing. I am as healthy as I would expect, eating full meals and doing my house chores with the full vigor of a house wife. Glory to God. What can’t God do for us, Dear Saints? Let us only trust Him and believe that nothing shall be impossible with Him. “For with God nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37).

God’s wonderful works of Grace.
By Bro. Lawrence Nginyirua.
God has been so gracious to me that words cannot exactly express the gratitude and awe I have for Him. Called by Him in 2005 to leave my home in the slopes of Mt. Kenya where I had lived and served Him in the ministry for more than twenty years, He led me to the Coast of Kenya where I lived in service of Him up to the year 2007. It was in that period the revival seed of His truth was sown in the Coastal region of Kenya, where the church of God has now started coming up to sight from the thralldom of sects, and the pagan religions that exist in the region. Then in 2008 -2009, the Lord had me in Nairobi , Thika and Mt. Kenya regions. The seed of revival was again sown in these regions and we are waiting to see the results, knowing that His word never returns to Him void. “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11). These areas are very much polluted by the sectarian confusion, including the nominal church of God. But we have seen signs that God is reviving the souls in the area. But in the year 2010, God sent us to the Savanna areas centered around Makindu, of Makueni Region. It is while in this region that we have seen and witnessed so wonderful things that we want to glorify the Lord by testifying of them here.
God pulls out a painful tooth (molar).
I had heard a man mockingly telling us how his aunt would never go to a dentist to have her tooth pulled out because she trusted the Lord. But I did not think that I would be personally challenged to make the same decision. The challenge came one evening after a hard day’s walking to evangelize around Makindu. One of my molars started aching insomuch that I could hardly eat or sleep. I paced the floor praying and trusting God to take away the pain. I trusted in His power to do this, paced the floor until I felt too weak and exhausted to keep on my feet. All the time, I remembered that the man who mocked his aunt had concluded the story by saying that in the morning, the aunt showed them the tooth and gleefully told them that the Lord had pulled it off. This encouraged me as I lay on our bed, believing that nothing was impossible for the Lord, and praying to Him to pull out the molar for me if He saw it fit. I do not remember when I slept, but when I woke up, the molar was rolling in my mouth and all the pain gone. Praise the Dear Lord for all his love and mercies. I put the molar on a hard surface and took a photograph if it. I would have liked to post the photograph here for any one to see, but I do not feel this would please he Lord right now. Glory to God who never ceases to perform wonders for His children.
My eyesight restored to the extent I can read.
I started using eyeglasses more than 15 years ago. For those many years, I could neither read my bible nor other books without the glasses. But when I came to Makindu, my glasses were broken at a time I could not afford to buy another pair. So I prayed and trusted the Lord to help me be able to read and work without any problems. Then trusting the Lord for a miracle — glory to God !!—I opened by bible to read. Sure enough, I could read my bible without any straining whatsoever. I tried other books and sure enough, I could read them all. I tried the newspaper and all was easy to read. Glory to God for His wonderful works. It is now about two years since I stopped using glasses to read. Oh, troubled heart, “…..Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day……” (Genesis 14:13).
God miraculously stops a big stack of bricks from tumbling down.
We are faced with a hard task of constructing a house of worship and a center for relief work at Makindu. At first, we were helped by loving saints with funds that could have been sufficient to have the roof of the house of worship put on. But the masons we gave the job deliberately changed the plans of the house and did so poor a job that we have had to reconstruct it again, using all our resources. Unfortunately, only one family is giving offerings for the work, most of the others being so poor that they cannot afford to put in anything worthwhile. But slow as the work is, the Lord had provided enough to have 8,OOO bricks made and the house repaired to the point it would be ready for roofing. So the bricks were made, placed in a stack ready for firing and then the fire was lit. On the third day, a mysterious something awfully frightening happened and the stack of bricks was disturbed and started tumbling on one side. We were called on phone by one person who witnessed it all start to happen. Immediately we heard this, we prayed that the Lord stops the bricks from getting destroyed. When we got to the site, just one row of the stack of bricks had fallen, destroying about 300 bricks. The whole stack threatened to tumble down though and was shaky. So we prayed and testified that they were the Lord’s bricks and that He would sustain His work come what may. We lit the fire on the other side of the stack and splashed some mud on the side that was tumbling down. Immediately we did that, the wind changed and started blowing from the side we had the fire. The fire was well lit and the wood started burning very well. It burned to the point we were satisfied the bricks would be well fired. So we sealed the holes and left the bricks to bake slowly with the fire going on slowly. The stack of bricks has now stood up for a number of days and it still baking. Glory to God.
