Prayer requests.

1. Please,  ardently pray for us in the Savanna areas of Kenya as we are threatened by a very severe famine. As crops failed in the last season due to the current drought, we did not harvest enough last season. We are facing an acute shortage of food in the area. We are solely dependent on peasant farming for our income. There is no employment available in the area and jobs countrywide are scarce.  We believe God can intervene for us if the saints will pray. Please, remember us every day in your prayers.

On September 21, 2011. The famine has got worse and worse. Families are threatened as the able bodied are trying to move elsewhere to try to get jobs. This has its own risks and problems. Please,pray on.

2. PRAY GOD TO REMOVE A TUMOR: A sister has had a swelling by the right ear, the size of an egg, for over 15 years. (Some are calling it a non-malignant tumor). The sister requests prayers from the saints, believing that God is able to remove the tumor (the swelling).

September 21, 2011. The tumor is still a problem. Please, pray on.

3. PRAY FOR ORPHANS  IN OUR AREA.  Recently, the number of orphans attending services at Makindu, Mbisu Mbiu,  Kimooini, and Kanyange congregations has  increased three times more than last year. Please, pray that the Lord would supply the needs of  these children with no father, nor mother.

4. PRAY FOR UNITY OF SAINTS: Kenya has been plagued with different groups of “church of God(s)” who do not work together in unity because they are encouraged to fight and hate each other by their own personal agenda. God has only one church and this is made up of all who are truly saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. Please, pray that all saints will be knitted together by the Spirit of God and not divided by traditions and practices that do not nurture love that works unity of the true saints.

5. THIS MINISTRY: Our ministry around the Savannas of Kenya has been terribly hindered by the lack of a vehicle to travel around in. We need a 4 wheel drive van/mini-bus very desperately. Please, pray for this urgent need here.
